That red thread of fate continues to unravel.
Call it what you want: kismet, chance, luck, fate. How lucky are we to have crossed paths? To exist at the perfect same time, in the perfect same place?
I’ve always had the sense that the universe will lead me where I’m meant to go—my interactions and experiences continue to reaffirm this, and I’m blessed to be surrounded by those who lift me up and who appreciate the energy I take great care to put forward and share with those who are willing to receive it. On that note, thank you for all the Valentine’s Day love! I appreciate your offerings and demonstrations of care and appreciation, no matter how small.
I’m really trying to tap into this idea of fate, chance, and following the heart: I’ve decided to apply to grad schools for a program I’ve wanted desperately to do since childhood. It feels like a big, scary step in a lot of ways but I’m truly excited and it feels like what I’m meant to do in the grand scheme of things. I don’t know where it will take me yet (in any sense), but I have all year to figure it out and that’s an exciting prospect! I haven’t shared much about my chosen field online as I value some semblance of privacy, but I’m excited to talk more about it in person and bounce some ideas off each other.
I’m continuing to travel a lot! I’m in the process of establishing some semi-home bases in Chicago and other cities out east: NYC, Philadelphia, and Boston, in particular. I love it out there and it’s fun to feel a little bi-coastal! I’ve always loved the best of both worlds, in many respects ;-)
